Reviews:
I sat down and read this book pretty much in one sitting after I bought it! I had no idea how much there was to know about houses and mortgages and property-buying until I started it. My husband and I are just starting to look at buying our first home, and I’m SO glad I read this book first. Now I’ll sound like I know what I’m doing when we start talking to real estate agents and mortgage brokers!
The book is well-written, engaging, and packed with all sorts of helpful tips–including comparisons of the difference between home-buying in different countries. I’ll be referencing it constantly throughout our home-buying process!!! -Rebecca
This is a comprehensive, well-researched book that is filled with practical tips for becoming mortgage free in 10 years. The author acknowledges that paying off a mortgage in 10 years is not a simple task, but she provides numerous tips and inspiration that the reader can re-visit again and again.
But this book offers more. At its core, the book offers the reader a new mindset. Going from mortgage free and beyond to financial freedom. It is a compelling vision backed by the steps to make it happen. -Brian
Heidi Farrelly has found a way to take a very dry and detailed subject of financing your home, and adding ideas and options to find the right house and right lender, as well as how to pay off the loan fast. She also finds a way to make you laugh, starting with her sub-title and throughout the book, I found myself chuckling out loud more than once while reading.
The book was well written, easy to read, and very helpful to me. I am in the retirement-self employed category. She even included ideas for me to use. -Jen
